Hear nature's heartbeat as you walk the Dolomites through the changing seasons. When spring arrives on the slopes of the Isarco Valley the cherry trees blossom, signalling the start of the walking season along the vast network of footpaths on the middle slopes. In summer the sky-scraping peaks of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – including Sassolungo, the emblem of Val Gardena, and the Odle Group – awaken an irresistible desire for adventure on the high mountain trails. Mild autumn days with their warm colours invite you to relaxing walks, ending perhaps in a tasty Törggelen in the Isarco Valley. The walking season in our region is long and extremely varied. Our own favourite routes go up to the Malga Rasciesa and the towering bulk of Sassolungo. Which will be yours?
